The MINND2050 association was created to meet a need for collaboration and mediation between organisations that do not know each other well and are not used to working together. Each business area has its own vertical organisation. MINND2050 offers a cross-functional approach to facilitate communication between these vertical business areas. Bringing these players together creates a common good that benefits everyone.
To gain a broad overview of the projects carried out in different professional communities and cover the entire life cycle of structures and territories
Through its cross-functional positioning, MINND2050 allows you to observe what is being done in professional fields that have been difficult to access until now, by bringing together descriptive elements of the various projects, working groups, etc. carried out in professional communities that usually operate in a specific way.
Launch of the MINnD National Research Project (Modelling of Interoperable Information for Sustainable Infrastructure), with the aim of “promoting the development of BIM (Building Information Modelling) for infrastructure by improving the structuring of project data for more efficient information exchange and sharing”.
More than 65 partners will produce around 40 deliverables, resulting from various collaborative working groups (uses and skills, practices and implementation, data structuring, project review, IFC infras standardisation, etc.).
As the work begun has not been completed, Season 2 of the PN MINnD has been launched and 50 additional deliverables are being produced (collaborative platforms, smart city, data management, archiving, etc.).
In total, 90 deliverables are made available to the general public, listed in a comprehensive reading guide.
After the closure of PN MINnD, a review of the follow-up to this large-scale collaborative project concluded that it was necessary to continue the work begun in 2014, especially as the collaborative dynamic had proven its worth. Several working groups were therefore created in 2023: Carbon and LCA WG, MU WG, Standardisation WG, Operation/Maintenance WG, Digital Twin Territories WG.
A non-profit association under the 1901 law, MINnD2050, was set up to oversee the process and the work.
In January 2025, the MINnD2050 association is officially created, with a Board of Directors and an Executive Committee. It is composed of Members (who pay a membership fee) and Partners (organisations representing other organisations). The working groups launched in spring 2024 continue their work.
The first deliverables are scheduled for autumn 2025.
MINnD2050 – since January 2025 – has become an association under the 1901 law, with a Board of Directors (CA) and an Executive Committee. In order to allow MINnD2050 to open up widely to new Members and Partners (as provided for in the Articles of Association, with a division into “categories”), it has been decided that 2025 will be a transition year, with a Board composed of Members who have followed/supported the development of MINnD2050 during 2024. A General Assembly will be convened at the end of 2025 to elect a new Board of Directors that is more representative of all Members (old and new), which will be elected for a three-year term (in accordance with the Statutes). The MINnD2050 Executive Committee is therefore also elected for the year 2025 only. It is composed of the following persons:
